Robert J. Looney

Robert J. Looney has extensive experience in finance and operations. Robert J. is currently working as the EVP & Chief Financial Officer for Westfield Specialty. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Financial Officer & COO for AXIS Re, where they oversaw finance and operations for a $3 billion reinsurance business. Robert J. also held the position of Executive Vice President, Global Finance Director at AXIS Capital. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Managing Director in investment banking at Wunderlich Securities, KeyBanc Capital Markets, and Advest, Inc. Robert J. began their career as a Senior Manager at PwC.

Robert J. Looney has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Columbia Business School. Robert J. also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accountancy from Villanova School of Business. Furthermore, they have a high school diploma from Chaminade High School. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and as a Series 7 & 63 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
