Ethan Urrutia

Ethan Urrutia is currently an Electrical Reliability Engineer in the GROW Rotational Program at Westlake since June 2025. Prior to this role, Ethan served as a Senior Computer Science Instructor II at Juni Learning from March 2022 to June 2025, teaching programming to children aged 7 to 18 and maintaining communication with parents regarding student progress. Additional experience includes an International Business Technology Internship at The Wendy's Company in summer 2024 and a Software Engineer Internship at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in summer 2023, where Ethan developed Python scripts for data visualization and collaborated with the Linux support team on hardware/software issues. Ethan's earlier work experience includes a position as a barista at Starbucks from December 2018 to April 2022. Educationally, Ethan is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to graduate in August 2025, and holds an Associate's degree in Art from Lone Star College.
