Jean-Marc Gilson is the President and CEO of Westlake, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this role, Jean-Marc served as Director and subsequently as CEO, President, and Representative Director at Mitsubishi Chemical Group from April 2021 to June 2024. Jean-Marc's earlier experience includes serving as CEO of Roquette from September 2014 to December 2020, Vice Chairman and COO at Nusil from January 2012 to August 2014, and President & CEO of Avantor Performance Materials in 2011. Jean-Marc also held the role of Exec VP Specialty Chemicals and Asian Area President at Dow Corning from September 2005 to December 2010, along with serving as Lead Director for 東レ・ダウコーニング株式会社 during the same timeframe. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from IMD and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Liège.
