Lawrence Schubert

Lawrence Schubert has a strong work history in the chemical industry, with a focus on corporate development and sustainability. From 1992 to 2013, Lawrence worked at LyondellBasell Industries in various roles, including Director of Strategic Planning & Transactions and Vice President of Green & Bio Business Development. During their time there, they demonstrated leadership skills and expertise in sales, marketing, and business development.

In 2013, Lawrence joined Westlake Chemical as Vice President of Corporate Business Development, where they played a key role in managing multifunctional teams and overseeing corporate strategy. Lawrence later served as Vice President of Polyethylene and eventually Vice President of Corporate Development & Sustainability. Lawrence's achievements at Westlake Chemical include leading the review of the company's Polypropylene position, facilitating corporate sustainability goals, and acting as an internal consultant for venture capital opportunities in the "green" space.

Lawrence Schubert obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Lawrence pursued their higher education at Xavier University, where they earned a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance.
