Rich Long

Rich Long is a seasoned professional in technical service and applied technology with extensive experience in the automotive, plastics, and industrial applications sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Service Engineer at Westlake since July 2021, Rich previously held roles at Evonik as an Applied Technology Scientist III, focusing on customer relations and solutions across multiple industries. Prior experience includes key roles at Silbond Corporation, Wacker Chemical Corporation, Magna International, and Findlay Industries, where Rich managed cross-functional teams and spearheaded business development initiatives. Rich holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, as well as a Master's degree in Chemistry and Polymers from Central Michigan University, and an M.S. in Polymers from Michigan Molecular Institute.
