Swetha Gopalakrishnan

Swetha Gopalakrishnan has a diverse work experience in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems). Swetha started their career at National Geographic as an HRIS Coordinator, where they were responsible for entering HRIS data into the PeopleSoft HRMS system and running queries and reports. Swetha then worked at MedImmune as an HRIS Specialist II, generating reports from the SAP HRIS system and creating organizational charts.

Swetha then worked at UCG as an HRIS Specialist, providing functional and maintenance support for the ADP HRIS and Payroll System, as well as designing customized HR and payroll reports for senior management. Swetha then joined CSC as an HRIS Professional, where they worked on various HRIS projects, including report generation using SAP and supporting the NPS HRIS Data Warehouse using SQL Server.

At Air Liquide, Swetha held the roles of Senior HRIS Analyst and HCM Lead for the Workday implementation project. Swetha created and troubleshooted reports from the PeopleSoft HRMS system, gathered business requirements, and provided technical and functional support.

Swetha then moved to AECOM as a Senior Human Resources Analyst, where they focused on building and enhancing HR reporting and analytical functions. Swetha developed reports and dashboards incorporating key metrics and collaborated with HR subject matter experts to meet business needs.

Currently, Swetha is working at Westlake Chemical as a Principal HRIS Analyst. Swetha'sresponsibilities include research, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of the Workday application. Swetha has implemented Workday Journeys and has been a subject matter expert for acquisition projects.

Swetha Gopalakrishnan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras from 1997 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Human Resources Management from the University of Madras between 2000 and 2002. In 2015, they completed HCM Certification in Workday from Workday HCM Training, specializing in Human Capital Management. Additionally, Swetha obtained a certification in Workday Pro Benefits from Workday in May 2023.
