Vedang Patel

Vedang Patel is an experienced engineering project manager with a strong background in mechanical engineering and project management. Currently serving at Westlake Plastics since August 2022, Vedang has successfully defined project scopes, developed schedules, budgets, and milestones while collaborating with sales to oversee new product development. Prior experience includes working as a mechanical project engineer at Piping Technology & Products, where cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives were emphasized. Vedang also completed an internship at AT&T, leading to significant cost reductions through automation efficiency improvements. Early career roles involved supporting research and manufacturing operations at the University of Houston and Rolex Industries, contributing to equipment design and process optimization.
