Phoebe Dawson, CMP has a strong background in event management and hospitality. Phoebe started their career as an Executive Assistant at Platinum Studios in 2010. Phoebe then moved on to SIFF Seattle International Film Festival where they held roles as Development Coordinator and Special Events Manager from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Westland Distillery as an Events Manager and eventually became the Guest Experience & Events Manager. In their role at Westland, Phoebe was responsible for managing all aspects of hospitality services, including event development and management, client relations, budget management, and team leadership. Phoebe also collaborated with fellow leadership team members and key stakeholders to develop marketing event strategies. Phoebe has experience hosting various types of guests, from public to corporate and private clients, and has managed relationships with high-profile corporations. Phoebe has a proven track record of successfully planning and executing events, including brand launch events and a multi-day sales conference. Throughout their career, Phoebe has demonstrated strong organizational and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to meet sales budget expectations.
Phoebe Dawson, CMP obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Philosophy from Seattle University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In August 2022, they also earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council.
