Kara Montgomery

Kara (Petro) Montgomery has a strong background in alumni engagement and student programs. Kara has held various roles at Westminster College and the University of Pittsburgh, where they managed alumni programs, developed young alumni initiatives, and oversaw student organizations. Kara also has experience in cross-cultural programming and leadership development.

Kara (Petro) Montgomery holds a Bachelor of Science and Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education (English) and Communications from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, obtained in 2007. Kara then pursued a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration at the University of Pittsburgh from 2007 to 2009. In 2020, they completed digital design coursework at Westminster College (PA). Additionally, they hold a Pennsylvania Secondary Education Teaching Certificate obtained in 2007 from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
