Sten Kajitani

Sten Kajitani is a Research Coordinator and Co-Founder of the UCC Neurosurgery Research Group at Progressive Solutions, focusing on augmented reality in radiology and the role of radiomics in aneurysm integrity. Sten also co-founded the Irish Planetary Health and Sustainability Research Group and serves as a Research Mentor in the UCC Medical Research and Technology Society, guiding future researchers. Sten's involvement extends to various roles at University College Cork, including Academic Resource Officer for NIMSA, Student Peer Support Leader, and volunteer tutoring for medical students. Sten's research experience includes significant projects at Cork University Hospitals Group, Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital, and Johns Hopkins Medicine, emphasizing pediatric surgery and orthopedic specialties. Sten holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from University College Cork and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Westmont College.
