Daniel Giovannelli

Daniel Giovannelli has a diverse work experience. Daniel is currently serving as the Vice President of Community Investments at Westmoreland Community Action since February 2021. Prior to this role, they were the Executive Director of Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity from January 2016 to February 2021.

From May 2009 to December 2015, Daniel was the Executive Director of Global Solutions Pittsburgh, where they managed all operations of an internationally oriented membership association.

Daniel has also worked as an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at various institutions. Daniel taught at Westmoreland County Community College from January 2015 to May 2015, at Duquesne University from January 2012 to May 2015, and at CCAC from August 2011 to July 2012.

Prior to their teaching roles, Daniel was a Graduate Student Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh from May 2007 to May 2009. Daniel also served as a Legal Intern at the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission from May 2007 to August 2007 and as a Graduate Intern at the Local Government Academy from May 2006 to August 2006.

Daniel Giovannelli has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History & Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh, which they obtained in 2005. Daniel then pursued higher education and completed their JD degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2009. During the same period, they also earned a Masters of Public Administration degree in Public and Nonprofit Management from the University of Pittsburgh.
