Kathryn Simpson

Kathryn Simpson is an experienced professional in grant management and administration, currently serving as the Grants Program Administrator for Innovative Funding at Pittsburgh Regional Transit since March 2024. Since March 2020, Kathryn has also held the position of Grant Coordinator at Westmoreland Community Action. Prior experience includes working as a Planner/Grants Writer at The Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette, Inc. from April 2016 to March 2020, and serving as Deputy Clerk at the Monongalia County Clerk's Office from August 2013 to April 2016. Academically, Kathryn holds a Master’s Degree in Public History and a Master’s Certificate in Cultural Resource Management from West Virginia University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in History from PennWest California.
