Heath Hill

Heath joined Westmoreland in February of 2020, bringing with him extensive industry expertise, most recently as CFO of Cloud Peak Energy (“Cloud Peak”). He initially joined Cloud Peak in September 2010 as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer before being promoted into the position of Chief Financial Officer in March 2015, where he remained through 2019.

Heath’s financial experience includes substantive expertise in assurance services primarily related to SEC registrants, including annual audits of financial statements and internal controls, public debt offerings, and equity transactions. Prior to his tenure at Cloud Peak, Heath worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (“PWC”), including the role of Senior Manager from September 2006 to September 2010, and Manager from September 2003 to September 2006. From June 2003 to June 2005, Heath was posted to PWC’s offices in Germany, where his focus included support of U.S. registrants throughout Europe. Heath earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado and remains an active, certified public accountant.

Heath will oversee the Accounting, Finance, and Information Technology departments across the United States as well as Canada.
