Dr Darran George

Dr. Darran George serves as the Senior Vice Principal for Curriculum and Compliance at Weston College since August 2006, holding various leadership positions including Vice Principal, Associate Principal, and Executive Director. Additionally, Dr. George is the Designate Deputy Chief Executive for Inspirational Futures Trust, part of the Weston College Group. Previous roles include Interim Principal at North Somerset Enterprise and Technology College and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Wales, Newport, specializing in Sports Psychology and Sport and the Environment. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from the University of the West of England and a Master of Science in Active Recreation and Health from the University of South Wales. Prior to an academic career, Dr. George served as a Royal Marine Commando from February 1998 to August 2002.
