Jeff Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to the present. Jeff has worked at various companies in different roles. From 2005 to 2007, they worked at Bank of New Zealand as a Technical Business Analyst and Project Manager. From 2008 to 2010, they were a Development Manager at TradeDoubler, where they delivered medium to large-scale projects and managed development and testing teams. In 2010, they co-founded Upcast Social and successfully sold the company to MediaMath in 2014. From 2011 to 2016, they held multiple positions at Tradedoubler, including Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Technical Officer, Vice President of Product Management, Chief Data Officer, and Product Strategy Director. Since 2016, they have been working at Westpac New Zealand, initially as Senior Manager of Engineering, then as Technical Delivery Lead, Tech Area Lead, and currently as Head of Engineering.
Jeff Johnston attended Victoria University of Wellington from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (BCA) degree. In 2009, they attended APM Group and completed a Prince 2 Practitioner course.
