Mario Willis

Mario Willis has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and management. Mario started their career as a Sales Manager at JCPenney in 2009 and later became a Group Sales Manager at Macy's in 2012. Mario then transitioned to Assistant General Manager roles at Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH from 2013 to 2016 and JCPenney from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, they joined SEIU Local 2015 as a Statewide Human Resources Generalist until 2020. Mario then served as a Human Resources Consultant at Essex Consulting, LLC from 2021 and is currently the Head of Human Resources at Westport Construction since 2020. Overall, they have gained significant experience in various HR and management positions throughout their career.

Mario Willis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from St. John's University. Additionally, they have pursued further education and is currently a LL.B. Candidate (equivalent to a JD) at the University of London. Prior to their current studies, Mario Willis also studied Human Resources and Employee Relations at Penn State University. In terms of certifications, they have obtained the Human Resources Foundations certification from LinkedIn in March 2022, as well as the Strategic Human Resources certification, also from LinkedIn, in February 2022.
