Gary Hemby

Gary Hemby has significant experience in engineering and project management within the automotive sector. Currently serving as the Special Project Manager and Engineering Superintendent at Westport since July 2009, Gary oversees a team of engineers and technicians involved in the development of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicle conversions, leading the creation of pioneering products such as F-series underbody tanks and tank crash protection. Prior to this role, Gary was the Owner of Track Master Chassis from June 2001 to July 2011, where design and manufacture of race cars and equipment for various racing formats were primary responsibilities. Earlier experience includes serving as Production Manager at Wooten Metal, Inc. from March 1997 to July 2009, managing operations in a metal fabrication shop. Gary graduated from South Grand Prairie High School in 1988.
