John O'Neal

John O'Neal is president, Global Paper, combining the sales and commercial operations of the Consumer and Corrugated paperboard and containerboard businesses. Previously he was executive vice president of global food & beverage; and before that, served as executive vice president of WestRock's folding carton business. Prior to joining WestRock, John was senior vice president and chief commercial officer at Mirant Corporation.

He earned a bachelor's of science degree in industrial engineering and operations research from the University of California, Berkeley and a master of business administration degree from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
