Director Of Prep Services For Dial Global Prep Brands at Westwood One

Dean Scott has extensive work experience in the radio industry. Dean began their career as the Music Director and On-air radio talent at WVIC-FM in Lansing, Michigan from 1986 to 1990. Dean then worked at WHYT-FM in Detroit as an On-air radio talent and promotions team member from 1990 to 1994. Scott went on to found Sound Productions Media Group in 1994, where they served as the Owner/CEO until 2000. During this time, they produced radio show prep programs and secured radio ad sales through MediaAmerica and later Jones Radio Networks. From 2000 to 2008, Scott worked at Jones Radio Networks as the Director of Prep Services. Dean oversaw all print radio show prep during their tenure. In 2008, Scott transferred to Dial-Global (formerly Triton Radio / Dial Global) after the acquisition of Jones Radio Networks. At Dial-Global, they continued to hold the position of Director of Prep Services for Dial Global Prep Brands.

Dean Scott earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Communication and Information from the University of Tennessee. This educational achievement took place from 1981 to 1986.
