Muayyed Malabeh began their work experience in 2017 as a Cultural Exchange Student at Kennywood Park. In 2018, they had an internship at Sobuh Construction and Consulting and worked as a Civil Engineer at Firas Balasmeh Corporation for Control Systems. In 2019, Muayyed became a Structural Design Engineer at the Public Security Directorate. They then served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Notre Dame from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Muayyed is employed as a Structural Project Engineer at Westwood Professional Services starting in 2023.
Muayyed Malabeh has a strong educational background in engineering. They completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Structural Engineering at the University of Notre Dame from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Structural Engineering from the University of Jordan between 2019 and 2021. Muayyed also holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Al-Balqa' Applied University BAU, which they completed from 2014 to 2018.
In addition to their formal education, Muayyed has gained multiple certifications to enhance their skills and expertise. They received a 10-Hr OSHA Training for the construction industry from the Occupational Safety & Health Administration in March 2023. They also attended a webinar on prestressed concrete bridge design offered by the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute in November 2022. Muayyed has further certification in Analysis and Design using ETABS & SAFE from Pioneers Academy in May 2019. They have completed training in fire fighting and alarm systems through Civil Defense in March 2019. In August 2018, Muayyed obtained certification in Revit Structure and Robot Structural Analysis from Archizone Academy. Lastly, they also successfully completed the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) examination conducted by ETS in December 2020.
