Robert E Buckingham II began their work experience in 1988 at PPL Electric Utilities, where they held various roles including Performance Improvement Specialist and Technical Training Specialist. Robert E was responsible for leading incident investigations, delivering training programs, and implementing improvements to reduce human error. Robert E also managed a software upgrade project for incident and action tracking. In 2016, Robert began working as a Human Performance Improvement Specialist at HOPE Consulting LLC and continued as a Self-Employed consultant, focusing on reliability, error management, and safety consulting. In 2018, they joined HMI as a Power Distribution Designer, completing outside power facilities design work for a local electric utility. Finally, in 2022, they joined Westwood Professional Services as a Lead Distribution Engineer, where they are responsible for outside power facilities design work for electric utilities.

Robert E Buckingham II has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Lehigh Valley. Robert E also holds an Associate of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Berks. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Human Performance Improvement and Training from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in 2011 and 2005, respectively.
