Tom Miller

Tom Miller has over 30 years of experience in the mining and civil engineering fields. Tom has worked as a Senior Project Manager at Westwood Professional Services since July 2018 and as a Senior Project Manager at Slater Hanifan Group since May 2018. From 2015 to 2018, they served as Senior Transportation Manager at Collins Engineers, Inc. Prior to that, they were Principal at Civil Squared Engineering from 2010 to 2015 and Principal at Civil Squared Engineering dba Martin & Martin Civil Engineers from 2010 to 2013. Tom also has experience as an Associate Engineer at the City of North Las Vegas from 2004 to 2006, as a Senior Civil Engineer at Clark County Department of Public Works from 2003 to 2004, as a Transportation Engineer at Aztec Engineering from 2001 to 2003, and as an Associate Engineer at Clark County Department of Public Works from 1998 to 2001. Tom began their career as a Research Assistant at UNLV Transportation Research Center in 1996. Throughout their career, Mr. Miller has been involved in traffic and transportation related projects, site planning, and civil engineering in both the public and private sector.

Tom Miller received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas between 1996 and 1998. Tom then pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science degree in the same field between 1998 and 2005. In addition to their academic achievements, Tom also obtained a certification in Professional Engineering from the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in December 2002.
