Chad Allen

Chad Allen has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Chad started their career at RMT Consulting as an Engineer, focusing on Title V air permitting applications for large industrial customers. Chad then joined Weyerhaeuser and held various leadership roles, including Process Optimization Supervisor and Environmental Engineer. At BPB Gypsum, they served as the Plant Engineering Manager, providing engineering and maintenance leadership for gypsum mining and production. Chad returned to Weyerhaeuser and took on roles such as Senior Environmental Engineer, Senior Process Engineer/ Pulp & Recovery Foreman, and Distribution Operations Leader. In their most recent position at Weyerhaeuser, Chad served as the Optimization Manager, working with functional managers and mill leaders to achieve strategic business objectives. Chad then transitioned to the role of Capital and Engineering Director. Throughout their career, Chad has consistently focused on reliability improvement, safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance.

Chad Allen holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Chad also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business from Texas A&M University-Texarkana. In addition to their degrees, Chad has obtained certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute and as a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) from the Arkansas State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors.
