Dan Christiansen

Dan Christiansen is an experienced GIS and IT professional currently serving as the GIS/IT Manager at Weyerhaeuser since February 2016, where responsibilities include managing the enterprise GIS Services team, overseeing budgets and vendor relationships, and migrating GIS applications to cloud environments. Previously, Dan worked as a Program Manager at Plum Creek from March 2006 to February 2016, managing project managers and business analysts across various programs, including GIS-enabled systems, and leading IT integration efforts during the merger with Weyerhaeuser. Other prior roles include Senior GIS Analyst at Technology Associates and Scene Visualization Engineer at Tate, Inc. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho and a GIS Certificate from the University of Washington.
