Monte Simpson has extensive experience in government affairs, currently working for Weyerhaeuser since 2006, focusing on the Gulf State region. Prior to this role, Monte served as Public Affairs Manager at MeadWestvaco from 1978 to 2006 and gained early experience as a Procurement Forester at Georgia-Pacific Corporation in 1977-1978. Monte holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry Resources and Conservation from the University of Florida, obtained between 1974 and 1977.
