Russell S. Hagen

Russell S. Hagen has been Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer since March 8, 2021. He oversees the company’s Real Estate, Energy & Natural Resources segment, as well as Business Development and Acquisitions and Divestitures, and he previously served as the company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2016. Hagen began his career in 1988 as a certified public accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC, and in 1993 he joined Plum Creek, where he held roles in accounting, finance and risk management, and executive-level roles in operations and corporate development prior to the merger with Weyerhaeuser. Hagen received a Bachelor of Science in business and accounting from Seattle University, and he serves on the Board of Trustees of Seattle University, where he has also been an adjunct lecturer.
