Jean-Marie Rosset

Jean-Marie Rosset has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jean-Marie is currently serving as the Head Platform Pharma at the WeylChem Group of Companies since 2021. Prior to this, they were the General Manager CPS Europe at Hetero from 2020 to 2021. From 2018 to 2020, Jean-Marie worked as the Vice President Sales & Business Development, Global at MINAKEM. Jean-Marie also held the position of Head of API, Commercial Development at Lonza from 2016 to 2017. Jean-Marie has a significant tenure at Cipla Ltd., where they worked as the Head of API North America & Europe from 2015 to 2016 and as the Head of APIs Europe from 2013 to 2014. Jean-Marie was the Sales & Marketing VP at Bachem from 2001 to 2013 and at Sochinaz SA/Bachem from 2000 to 2001. Earlier in their career, Jean-Marie worked as the Purchasing Manager at Firmenich from 1998 to 1999. Jean-Marie started their career as a Process Development Chemist at Ciba from 1994 to 1996. In addition to their roles, Jean-Marie has also been involved in various responsibilities such as supervising the construction of a GMP manufacturing site, leading a team, and serving as the Head of EHS for a site.

Jean-Marie Rosset completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of Lausanne - UNIL from 1982 to 1986. Subsequently, from 1986 to 1990, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organometallic Chemistry at the same institution. Afterward, they served as a Postdoctoral fellow in Organic Chemistry at The University of Queensland from 1992 to 1993.
