James Martinson

James Martinson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. James is currently serving as the Head of Global Indirect Procurement at Sun Chemical since 2023. Before that, they worked at Seagate Technology for a significant period from 2015 to 2023, holding the role of Director of Global Procurement, Global Sourcing, and Global Supply Chain. James successfully led and managed various aspects of the global supply chain across multiple regions. Prior to Seagate, James held various positions at the same company from 1995 to 2010. Before joining Seagate, they worked at American Airlines as an Aerospace Maintenance Stores Manager from 1992 to 1995. James also has prior experience in the United States Army from 1985 to 1988, serving in different locations.

James Martinson completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2011 to 2016. James also pursued an Executive Leadership Program in Organizational Leadership at Thayer Leadership at West Point Academy in 2023. Additionally, James holds an MBA with Distinction from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, and a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management from St. Cloud State University.
