Michael McGavin

Michael McGavin is an accomplished videographer and content creator with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as a videographer at WGAL 8 TV since November 2021, Michael has also established McGavin Media in January 2018, where as the founder and camera operator, creative storytelling through photography and videography is emphasized. Previously, Michael worked at WNEP-TV 16 from April 2018 to October 2021, where responsibilities included filming news events, editing packages, and engaging with the public for insights. Michael's work history also includes roles as a merchandiser at Pepsi Bottling Group and customer service at Wegmans Food Markets. An internship with the Electric and Grip Department during a short film shoot at Long Island University allowed Michael to develop skills in lighting design. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from Adelphi University, earned between 2014 and 2016.
