Taylor Hess

Taylor Hess is a dedicated journalist currently serving as a reporter and weekend reporter at WGAL 8 TV since August 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a sports producer, news anchor, and sports anchor with Temple Update from September 2022 to May 2024. Taylor has also contributed to the Sports Media Society for Women as a guest speaker coordinator, worked as a media assistant for the Temple University Ice Hockey Club, and gained experience as a server and hostess at Heritage Hotel Lancaster. Additional roles include a sports reporter for OwlSports Update Productions, studio crew for We Need To Talk TUTV, and member service representative for Crunch Fitness. Taylor's foundation in sports reporting began at Spooky Nook Sports, along with a recognition as a Student Emmy from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Taylor holds degrees in Journalism and Sports Studies from Temple University and has educational experience at The University of Alabama and Hempfield Senior High School.
