WGBH EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION
Sarima Omodu-Amadi has a diverse range of experience in retail and media, currently serving as a Retail Sales Associate at Nordstrom since June 2023, and as an Emma Bowen Fellow at the Emma Bowen Foundation since May 2021. Previous roles include Vice President and Secretary at Community Wellness Leaders, where Sarima organized wellness events and promoted the club on social media. Sarima also worked as Media Manager at URI's Chafee Broadcast Center, facilitating communication for student journalism, and held two fellowships at WCVB-TV during the summers of 2021 and 2022. Additional experience includes various positions at the University of Rhode Island and a sales associate role at IKEA. Sarima holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and Film/Media from the University of Rhode Island, following graduation from Stoughton High School in 2019.
