Denise Ashton

Denise Ashton has extensive experience in community planning and design, currently serving as Builder Liaison at ULI OC/IE since 2006, focusing on enhancing connections with the Builder Community to advance ULI's mission. Since 1999, Denise has been a Senior Principal at William Hezmalhalch Architects, where responsibilities include managing the planning department and overseeing various site and master planning projects aimed at creating vibrant neighborhoods while maintaining strong client relationships. Additionally, Denise served on the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute from 2004 to 2010 and worked as a planner at PBR from 1979 to 1984. Denise holds a BA in Geography from California State University, Fullerton, earned between 1973 and 1978.
