Stephen O'Leary

Stephen O'Leary is an experienced GIS Manager currently serving at Whakatane District Council since April 2009. Previously, Stephen held similar positions at Fletcher Challenge Forests from September 2000 to March 2004 and worked as a Consultant/Project Manager at Intergraph between 1997 and 2000. Stephen began a career in remote sensing as a Remote Sensing Scientist at Landcare Research from January 1995 to January 1997 and worked as a Petroleum Engineering Assistant at Esso Expro earlier in January 1991 to December 1992. Stephen holds a Master of Arts in GIS and Remote Sensing from The University of Auckland, obtained between 1993 and 1994, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the same institution, completed between 1986 and 1988.
