Autumn Hanscom

Autumn Gardiner possesses extensive experience in philanthropy and grant management, currently serving as a Philanthropy Officer (Grants Manager) at Whale and Dolphin Conservation since January 2021. Previously, Autumn held the position of Grants Manager at Mystic Aquarium, where approximately $3 million in funding for research, education, and conservation initiatives was successfully managed annually. With prior roles as Grants Coordinator, Volunteer Manager at DiscoverE.org, and Consultant for various projects, Autumn has demonstrated a strong ability to secure and oversee funding while enhancing program accessibility, particularly in STEM education. Earlier experience at Amnesty International USA and the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce further showcased skills in resource development and project management. Autumn holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from American University and pursued an M.A. in Comparative Regional Studies.
