Andrew McKinnon

Andrew Mckinnon began this role in November 2019 and he's happy to be back in Whanganui, as he spent his early childhood growing up in the region at Koriniti and Aberfeldy.

Before taking up this role, he spent 13 years as Chief Financial Officer at the University of Waikato. Previously he was Finance Manager at Victoria University of Wellington and prior to that, Treasurer at Tranzrail Limited. His career began as an auditor at KPMG in Wellington.

Throughout his career, he has always focused on supporting organizations by developing solutions to enable organizational objectives. He is both solutions and customer service focused and is looking forward to continually improving what we do here at the WDHB to achieve their vision of thriving communities.
