Juan Restrepo

Juan Restrepo is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in oral health services management. Currently serving as the Service Manager for Oral Health Services at Te Whatu Ora Whanganui since May 2023, Juan Restrepo previously held the position of Manager of Oral Health Services at Lakes District Health Board from December 2010 to September 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing service delivery in mobile units and fixed clinics, implementing systemic changes, and managing relationships with the Ministry of Health. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of IPS at Sura, coordinating dental operations across the country, and managing a large team, as well as working with Colombian Air Patrol as Coordinator of Volunteer Dentists. Juan Restrepo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry and Oral Surgery from Universidad CES, along with qualifications in Health Services Management, Business Coaching, and other relevant certifications.
