Alexander Budko is a Software Engineering Intern with the GraphQL Team at The New York Times since June 2024. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant for CIS 3500 in Software Design & Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, Alexander has also been the Backend Team Lead and Full-Stack Engineer at Penn Labs since September 2022. Additional roles include participation in the Quant Finance Committee of the Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club since February 2023 and a Software Research Internship focused on the OBSERVER Project under Dr. Kevin B. from May to September 2023. Alexander is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania, expected to graduate in May 2026, and previously earned a Diploma of Education in Computer Science from Stanford University in August 2021 and graduated high school from West Shore Jr./Sr. High School and Viera High School.
