Alima Aset has a diverse work experience, starting in 2020 with their role as a Team Leader, Producer, and Operations Manager at Kunekei Group, where they co-founded a financial literacy course and developed a successful marketing strategy. In 2021, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Neuromarketing Lab at Almaty Management University, focusing on improving patient satisfaction through offline and online marketing instruments. Alima Aset obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania from 2022 to 2026. Prior to that, they attended Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools from 2016 to 2022, where they earned A levels in Biology, Computer Science, and Mathematics. In 2021, Alima also participated in the Economics for Leaders summer program at the University of Chicago. Additionally, they have completed certifications in "Getting started with Python" and "Python Data Structures" from Coursera in 2023.
