Hao Cui

Hao Cui is a dedicated finance and entrepreneurship student at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, with a strong background in business development, private equity, and sports. Currently serving as an incoming Strategy & Business Development Intern at The D. E. Shaw Group, Hao has a rich history of participation in various roles, including a member of the NCAA Student Athlete Advisory Committee and a player on the D1 Men's Squash Team, where a notable contribution included securing a 10-2 record and winning national titles. Previous experience includes roles as a Private Equity Analyst at Redwave Venture Partners, a summer intern at Northmarq focusing on commercial real estate challenges, and a Project Management Fellow at Groov, improving operations and social media strategies. A former restaurant manager at Ginza Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar, Hao successfully enhanced operational efficiencies and revenues. Educational accomplishments include participation in the Goldman Sachs Virtual Insight Series and early exposure to finance through an internship at T. Rowe Price.
