Andy Treinen is an experienced news anchor with a distinguished career in television journalism, currently serving as an anchor at WHAS-TV since September 2006. Prior to this role, Andy held anchor positions at WTMJ TELEVISION from June 2003 to July 2006 and at WXIX TELEVISION from March 1993 to June 2003, where responsibilities included anchoring, sports anchoring, and reporting. Additionally, Andy worked as a sports and news anchor and play-by-play commentator at WXIX-TV between 1994 and 2003, and served as a sports producer at WLWT from June 1990 to March 1993. Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from the University of Cincinnati, earned between 1986 and 1990, and is a graduate of LaSalle High School.
