Kay Behrens

Kay Behrens has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kay began their career as an Associate Attorney at Cox & Smith in 1986 and worked there until 1991. Kay then joined HEB Grocery Company, where they held the positions of Director of Corporate Law and Director of Real Estate Law from 1991 to 2005. In 2006, they joined KCI Medical as the Vice President of Health Care Compliance and held this role until 2009. Currently, they are the Group Director and Senior Corporate Counsel at Whataburger, a position they have held since May 2009.

From 1983 to 1986, Kay Behrens attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
