Marius Starcke

Marius Starcke is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in innovation, consulting, and project management across various sectors. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at WhatAVenture GmbH since April 2016, Marius designs and oversees strategic innovation programs, focusing on intrapreneurship and startup accelerators. Previous roles include Head of Disaster Recovery at Chiloobal, Consultant at the World Bank Group where Marius conducted impactful research on entrepreneurship and innovation in transitioning economies, and Senior Advisor at Nikkei, contributing to the launch of technology and innovation events. Marius has held leadership positions at Nikkei & Pioneers LLP, PioneersHQ, and Roland Berger, managing significant projects and fostering collaboration in the tech startup ecosystem. Marius holds degrees from WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, the Stockholm School of Economics, along with early education at Lawrence Academy and Apostelgymnasium.
