Kelly Helms

Kelly Helms is an accomplished learning and development professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Learning and Development at Whatcom Educational Credit Union-WECU® since April 2020, Kelly manages a team focused on delivering impactful learning experiences. Prior roles include Manager of Learning & Development and Senior Trainer at Major League Baseball, where Kelly monitors and ensures the quality of real-time data from baseball games. At Talented, Kelly directed the development of a global curriculum for workplace education and managed a team of instructional designers. Previous experience also includes serving as Senior Learning Manager and Assistant Director at Western Washington University, where Kelly designed innovative teaching initiatives and mentored aspiring educators. Kelly holds a Master's degree in English Studies and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, both from Western Washington University.
