John Taylor Baker

John Baker is an experienced educator and caregiver with a diverse background in supporting children and young adults. Currently serving as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at Montessori Children's House since August 2021, John also works as a nanny and tutor through Care.com, providing essential support for children during online classes and engaging them in recreational activities. In addition, John has been a Counselor at Whatcom Family YMCA, assisting with after school programs, and previously held roles such as Youth Development Professional at Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Teaching Assistant at AHA Childcare & Family Learning Center. As the founder of Eagle Cliff Press LLC, John is dedicated to publishing contemporary Young Adult fiction, alongside a successful track record as an independent author with completed manuscripts. John holds education from Western Washington University and Bainbridge High School.
