Galit Vasershtein

Galit Vasershtein is currently the Lead Fraud Analyst at Whatnot. Prior to this, they worked as a Disputes Analyst at GOAT Group from May 2019 to August 2021. In this role, Galit was responsible for analyzing and responding to credit card disputes on behalf of the merchant, as well as reducing chargebacks through research and analysis. Prior to GOAT Group, Galit worked as a Risk Manager and Data Analyst at Fibonatix from September 2016 to November 2017. In this role, Galit was responsible for analyzing and visualizing data to prevent fraud, managing a portfolio of 40 merchants in the high-risk industry, and conducting risk workshops and education programs for every onboarded merchant. Galit began their career as a Global Payments Account Manager at Leumi Card in October 2009, where they worked for seven years before moving on to Fibonatix.

Galit Vasershtein is a data analyst who has a degree in communication and media studies from The Open University of Israel. Galit also has a certification in data analytics from Springboard.
