Marco Borgato

Marco Borgato is the head of product at Whatwapp and a CEO, CPO, and founder of Mirai Labs. Marco is also the founder of Homocryptus and an external advisor for Valuart. Borgato has been in the tech industry for over five years and has experience in product management, marketing, and community building. In their current role at Whatwapp, Borgato is responsible for leading the product team and driving growth for the company. Prior to Whatwapp, Borgato was the CEO and CPO of Mirai Labs, a startup that aimed to accelerate the adoption of web3 technology. During their time at Mirai Labs, Borgato grew the company to over 30,000 users and 10+ partners. Marco also launched Save The Future, a crypto green ecommerce accelerator powered by the SaveFuture Protocol. Borgato has also held roles at bibipom exchange, Starboost, Cam.TV, and IQVIA Italia.

Marco Borgato holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from Università Commerciale 'Luigi Bocconi' in Economics and Management of innovation and technology, which they obtained in 2016. Their Bachelor's degree in Finance is also from Università Commerciale 'Luigi Bocconi', which they obtained in 2014. In 2013, Borgato participated in an international exchange at University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Finance field. Prior to that, they attended Liceo Scientifico G. Bruno, a 5-year high school, where they studied Biology and Phisics. Marco also holds BEC, SAS, IELTS, and ECDL certifications.
