Dr. Deirdra Crye

Director Of Operations & Special Projects at Wheaton College

Dr. Deirdra Crye has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dr. Deirdra started their career at the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2013, where they served as the EA- President & CEO. In this role, they managed project planning and professional presentation development for the CEO and Strategic Director while streamlining the preparation process for board materials.

Dr. Deirdra then joined Windy City Blinds in 2014 as a Business Office Manager.

In 2017, Dr. Crye transitioned to Joliet Junior College, where they served as Executive Administration. In this position, they managed the department's operations, financials, e-communication, and special programs. Dr. Deirdra also served on the President's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council to promote inclusive practices.

Currently, Dr. Crye is working at Wheaton College, where they hold the position of Director of Operations & Special Projects since June 2023. Dr. Deirdra previously held the role of Operations Manager since July 2022.

Dr. Deirdra Crye completed their Doctorate of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of St. Francis in the years 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership from 2011 to 2013. Their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General was obtained from Lewis University from 2005 to 2010. Additionally, Dr. Crye has obtained certifications as a Cultural Competency Workshop Facilitator from The Kaleidoscope Group in 2021 and in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business, also in 2021.
