David Schmidt

David Schmidt has an extensive work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. David started their career in 2009 as a Histology Tech at INTEGRIS Health and later worked as a Laboratory Tech at Excalibur Pathology from 2011 to 2012. In 2010, David joined Cytovance Biologics where they held various roles including Quality Control Analyst, Supervisor of Analytical Development, and ultimately Director of Analytical Development from 2010 to 2020.

In 2020, David joined Wheeler Bio, Inc., a biomanufacturing company, as Vice President of Analytics. David'srole involved facilitating the translation of therapeutic innovation into clinical impact by offering comprehensive discovery-to-IND programs through rapid biomanufacturing and portable CMC platforms. David also served as Vice President of Business Operations starting from June 2022.

David Schmidt completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at the University of Oklahoma from 2004 to 2009. David then pursued further education at the same university, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Management Information Technologies (MIT) from 2020 to 2022. During this time, they also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from 2019 to 2022.
