Sergey Gomenyuk

Sergey Gomenyuk is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience across various companies and roles, currently serving as a Backend Engineer at Wheely since March 2021. Prior to this, Sergey was a Software Engineering Manager at Align Technology, where significant contributions included leading the porting of backend applications to Linux, developing AWS-based services, and collaborating with architectural teams on canary release solutions. With previous positions at HP, Acronis, JSC InfoTeCS, SMWare, and Electrondesign, Sergey’s expertise extends to cloud systems, backup and recovery solutions, C++ software development, and embedded software for digital devices. Sergey holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, earned between 2004 and 2010.
