Stefan Bauer

Stefan Bauer has over a decade of experience in software development, including management positions at some of the world's largest tech companies. Stefan is currently the CTO at WhereIsMyTransport, a data-driven transportation company that is making cities more accessible for everyone.

Bauer's previous experience includes heading up software development at Prodigy Finance, a fintech company that offers loans to international students. Stefan was also responsible for warehouse management, finance, marketplace, and customer service at takealot.com, one of South Africa's largest online retailers.

At Amazon Web Services, Bauer was a software development manager responsible for a team of developers building cloud-based applications. Prior to that, they spent four years at Bloomberg as an R&D team lead for real-time market data and financial software developer. Stefan began their career at Bloomberg as an intern in 2006.

Stefan Bauer has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Lancaster University and a Diploma in Computer Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt. Stefan is Google Cloud Certified in Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect.
